Customer Terms and Conditions

Before placing your order, you must read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.  You agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as if they were a written agreement signed by Fotofix and you.

Fotofix may modify or revise our terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to you and you agree to be bound by any revisions. The most current version of the Terms and Conditions will supersede all previous versions.


Please ensure that you have the right to reproduce the image you supply to us – the person who takes the picture owns the copyright.  Fotofix cannot be held responsible for any breach of copyright in relation to the image you supply.

Supplied Image

On receipt of your image, we will check its suitability for reproduction in relation to your chosen Fotofix style.  We will make every effort to ensure that your image is reproduced at the highest quality but reproduction is solely dependent on the quality of the original you supply to us. We will provide a digital low resolution, watermarked proof before the final printing stage but note that colour reproduction can vary between your screen based digital proof and your canvas print. Screens can be calibrated very differently so this must be taken into consideration and we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between your digital proof and your final canvas print.  Fotofix reserves the right to refuse to reproduce images that we deem are of inferior quality or of inappropriate content (including but not limited to pornography, illegal or racially discriminating material).

Prices and Payment

All our prices are displayed on our prices page and on our product pages and all payments are processed through Paypal.  Most products have additional options that incur additional charges.  Additional charges are automatically calculated and added to your basket when additional options are chosen.  Delivery charges are calculated depending on your delivery address.  Fotofix prices are subject to change without notice. The prices shown on this website supersede all previous price versions.

Order Process and Delivery

For customised products, once we receive your order, we will confirm that your photo is of suitable quality and one of our artists will start to work on your customised artwork. You will receive your hand illustrated proof via email within 3-5 working days of Fotofix confirming the suitability of your image. Your customised artwork, printed on high quality canvas and ready to hang will normally be dispatched within 3-5 working days of you approving the proof and giving us the go ahead to print. For non-customised orders, delivery is normally within 3-5 days after dispatch for addresses in Ireland and 5-10 days for International addresses, and is subject to items being in stock. All time estimates are based on a standard order assuming no order changes or delivery disruptions that are beyond our control.

Prior to you placing an order, we offer you advice regarding the optimum image you should supply to us.  We also offer a photo consultancy service if you are unsure about your image’s suitability.  You should therefore ensure that you are completely happy with the image you supply to us before placing your order.  The Fotofix ordering system is designed so that you can indicate specific choices such as colour, cropping preferences etc. so you should indicate these choices at the ordering stage.  Any subsequent change to these preferences such as cropping etc. may incur an additional charge should your artwork have to be started again to take the new preference into account. Once you receive your digital proof you can make one minor change at no additional cost to you (eg. change the colour of the background).  Any additional or complex changes will incur further charges.  Due to the bespoke nature of our products, you can only cancel your order before the printing stage but you will still be charged for the artwork costs.  If your order has been printed, you will be charged in full. We will provide replacements if your portrait is damaged in transit or lost in the post and any issues should be reported by you as soon as you receive the product. Colour variations between your screen and the printed canvas and a disagreement you may have with our artistic interpretation of your artwork do not qualify as issues worthy of a refund.
